Job Title: Fractional Marketing Consultant
Role Summary: Provide strategic marketing and growth leadership on a 6–12 month fractional basis for a financial services firm, collaborating with executives to define, set, and execute a digital marketing strategy within a regulated environment.
Expectations: Deliver measurable growth outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, drive data‑driven decision making, advise on best practices, and maintain flexible engagement to fit executive priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update and communicate the integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead planning, budgeting, execution and optimization of digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, email, display, SEO and CRO.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with financial regulations (e.g., FCA, SEC, GDPR).
- Analyze performance with analytics platforms, generating actionable insights and adjusting tactics.
- Partner with product, sales, compliance and web teams to align messaging and compliance.
- Provide training and guidance on digital tactics and regulatory policies to internal marketing staff.
- Report results, ROI and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors and technology providers.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years senior marketing experience in financial services or regulated industry.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing strategy, growth hacking, analytics, A/B testing and CRO.
- Deep knowledge of digital channels and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, etc.).
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable marketing policies.
- Strong stakeholder communication, project management and leadership skills.
- Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field.
- Preferred: digital marketing certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint) and regulatory compliance credentials (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, FCA‑approved).
