Job Description: **Job Title** Internship – Special Situations **Role Summary** A 10–12 week internship in the Special Situations Opportunistic Credit team, evaluating distressed and opportunistic investment opportunities across public and private markets worldwide. **Expectations** - Support senior team members in all stages of the investment process. - Produce clear, data‑driven analyses and presentations for investment committees. - Actively contribute to relationship management with sponsors and external parties. - Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and integrity‑focused work ethic. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Perform investment due diligence on public and private opportunities, reviewing financial statements, reports, and engaging with sell‑side, buy‑side, and management teams. 2. Build and maintain detailed financial models; conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses. 3. Draft Investment Screening Notes and Investment Committee memos; assist in presenting recommendations. 4. Monitor ongoing investments, update models with periodic reporting, and track performance metrics. 5. Support relationship building with sponsors, investors, and other stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Minimum 18 months relevant experience in Private Credit, Special Situations, Private Equity, Distressed Credit, or Investment Banking (Leveraged Finance or M&A). - Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional European language skills are a plus. - Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA Level I or equivalent) are desirable but not mandatory.
