HR Data Lead (12‑month contract)
**Role Summary**
Lead the data strategy, migration, and governance for a new HRIS/HR SaaS implementation. Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance from discovery to post‑governance while working cross‑functionally with HR, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a comprehensive HR data strategy aligned with business and system capabilities.
- Own the end‑to‑end data migration process, ensuring accurate, compliant data in the new system.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and quality metrics.
- Act as the primary liaison for data matters between HR, IT, and vendors.
- Provide training and support to HR teams on data standards and reporting.
- Enable reporting, analytics, and dashboards that support strategic workforce planning.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define data models, mapping documents, and migration plans for legacy‑to‑new system transitions.
- Lead data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL).
- Coordinate integration interfaces with payroll, talent, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop data governance policies, ownership, stewardship, and quality controls.
- Monitor KPIs, resolve data quality issues, and implement continuous improvement.
- Ensure GDPR and internal data protection compliance.
- Translate technical data concepts to business language for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with BI teams to design dashboards and insights.
- Support training, user documentation, and post‑implementation optimization.
**Required Skills**
- Technical: HR data structures, relational databases, ETL, SQL, advanced Excel, Power BI, data warehousing.
- HRIS: Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM and data migration tools.
- Governance & Compliance: Deep knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and security best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Project Delivery: Proven track record in large‑scale HR transformation, familiarity with Agile/hybrid methodologies.
- Analytical & Continuous Improvement: Strong analytical mindset, Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience.
- Personal Qualities: Detail‑oriented, organized, proactive problem‑solver, excellent written and oral communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
- Certifications: Data Governance (DGAP, CDMP), SQL/ETL, or HRIS‑specific (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors HL, Workday HXM).
