Job Description

**Job Title:** IT Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Drive the analysis and translation of business needs into clear, actionable requirements and technical solutions. Partner with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure alignment, efficient processes, and successful delivery of technology initiatives. **Expectations:** - Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Azure DevOps usage. - Ability to gather, document, and prioritize requirements across multiple projects. - Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Residency in Central Ohio (or ability to work on‑site/hybrid). **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct requirements‑gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews. - Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. - Prioritize and align requirements with business objectives. - Collaborate with developers, testers, and PMs to translate requirements into technical specifications. - Manage backlog, create features, and support sprint planning in Azure DevOps. - Identify and mitigate project risks; facilitate stakeholder reviews and sign‑offs. - Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best‑practice improvements. - Stay informed on industry trends and recommend process enhancements. **Required Skills:** - Business analysis & requirements documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria). - Azure DevOps (backlog grooming, sprint planning, feature creation). - Strong verbal and written communication; stakeholder engagement. - Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, attention to detail. - Ability to multitask in fast‑paced environments. - Familiarity with financial domain and/or public sector environments (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA) preferred but not mandatory.
