Job Title: C++ Engineer – Trading Systems Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy ultra‑low‑latency C++ components for a greenfield trading infra project for a global hedge fund, collaborating with quant researchers to build scalable, production‑ready systems. Expactations: - Deliver production‑ready code within a 3‑6 month contract, with potential extension. - Work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment, taking ownership of features from design to deployment. - Communicate progress and technical challenges clearly to cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Engineer high‑performance C++ modules (C++14/17/20) for execution, market data handling, and exchange connectivity. - Implement multithreaded, concurrent solutions that meet strict latency and reliability targets. - Collaborate with quant researchers and engineers to integrate algorithmic strategies into the trading pipeline. - Perform code reviews, unit testing, and maintainability practices to support continuous delivery.
