Job Description
Job title: Principal Enterprise Analyst – Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator Role Summary: Senior liaison driving enterprise-wide optimization of the Salesforce platform, translating complex business needs across functional domains into scalable, high‑quality Salesforce solutions, and leading design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Expactations: • Deliver moderate to highly complex Salesforce solutions that align with strategic roadmaps and deliver measurable business value. • Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering best practices and ensuring alignment with organizational standards. • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities across distributed teams. Key Responsibilities: • Gather and analyze business requirements, produce detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and acceptance criteria. • Design and implement Salesforce configurations (custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, workflows, validation rules, Lightning Process Builder, reports, dashboards). • Administer Salesforce security (users, profiles, roles, permission sets) and manage data processes (ingestion, transformation, reporting). • Lead business process modeling (flows, diagrams) using MS Visio/Draw.io. • Manage incidents, enhancements, and projects via IT ticketing and ALM tools (Quality Center, ServiceNow, JIRA). • Execute Salesforce CPQ/CLM and Customer Communities (Experience Cloud) implementations. • Collaborate with vendors/implementation partners to influence product direction and negotiate deliverables. • Maintain documentation and knowledge base via SharePoint. • Apply agile or waterfall methodologies, utilizing Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence as appropriate. Required Skills: • 7+ years Salesforce business analysis and administration experience; 2+ years Lightning/Lightning components. • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ/CLM, FinancialForce PSA or equivalent. • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. • Leadership and mentorship capabilities. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and project management tools. • Experience with Six Sigma principles (preferred). Required Education & Certifications: • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required). • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, or related certifications preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
