Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code on Azure. Drive best‑practice standards, automation, and cost‑optimization while collaborating with development, security, and operations teams. **Expectations:** - 10+ years of DevOps experience, primarily on Azure. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Ability to define and enforce security and reliability standards. - Proactive incident handling with thorough root‑cause documentation. - Collaborative mindset with Agile/Scrum teams and .NET developers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build, enhance, and maintain Azure DevOps (YAML) deployment pipelines. - Develop and manage IaC templates using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager. - Automate scaling of Azure resources and monitor Azure spend. - Create and sustain Azure monitoring dashboards and reports. - Define and enforce cyber‑security controls and DevOps best practices. - Participate in daily status, design, and sprint planning meetings. - Identify and communicate infrastructure, software, or data issues to stakeholders. - Produce incident reports and root‑cause analyses. **Required Skills:** - Azure platform expertise: App Services, Azure SQL, VMs, networking, firewalls, Key Vault, Application Insights. - Azure DevOps Pipelines and Releases (YAML). - Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, ARM templates. - Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) fundamentals. - Automation scripting and CI/CD tooling. - Familiarity with .NET development environments (no deep coding required). - Agile/Scrum and DevOps process knowledge. - Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and written/oral communication abilities. - Interest in expanding cyber‑security, privacy, DataOps, and MLOps knowledge. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field *or* equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred but not mandatory.
