Job Title: Continuous Improvement Intern
Job Description: Job title: Continuous Improvement Intern Role Summary: Intern to support the Continuous Improvement team by mapping and evaluating business processes, collecting and analyzing data, and developing Lean/Six Sigma solutions to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency. Expectations: - Deep analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis abilities. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver clear, concise documentation. - Effective written and oral communication skills in a cross‑functional environment. Key Responsibilities: - Map, observe, and document current processes across departments. - Collect and analyze data to identify bottlenecks, waste (Muda), and improvement opportunities; set baseline metrics. - Collaborate with CI specialists on Lean projects, including Kaizen events and value‑stream mapping workshops. - Propose data‑driven solutions to eliminate waste and streamline operations. - Produce standard work instructions, project summaries, visual management aids, and progress reports. - Assist in creating training materials and communication to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio proficiency. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (preferred but not mandatory).
