Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Scientist, Full Stack Role Summary: Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning models for fraud detection and financial risk solutions, integrating analytics, modeling, and production code. Focus on identity verification in financial services. Expactations: - Lead model development from concept to production, ensuring real-time decision-making. - Identify emerging fraud patterns and design innovative identity verification solutions. - Collaborate across engineering, risk operations, and data teams to optimize data quality. - Conduct data-driven analyses to guide product, risk, and business strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and monitor fraud detection models (data acquisition to production). - Engineer features and integrate new data sources to enhance model performance. - Write production-ready code for real-time systems and validate model impacts. - Present analytical insights to technical and executive stakeholders. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift). - Strong machine learning/statistics foundation; experience with state-of-the-art ML techniques. - End-to-end model development and deployment expertise. - Ability to communicate complex results to leadership and cross-functional teams. - Production coding and testing experience; focus on scalability and reliability. Required Education & Certifications: - PhD with 4+ years data science experience OR Master’s with 6+ years experience. - Proven success solving high-impact business problems with ML/data science. - Legal authorization to work in the United States.
