**Job Title:** Vice President of Global Sourcing
**Role Summary:** Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of a global sourcing strategy that drives profitability, speed‑to‑market, compliance, and sustainability. Manage a multi‑country sourcing organization, partner cross‑functionally with sales, merchandising, finance, logistics, and product teams, and deliver a scalable supplier network across key manufacturing regions, primarily in Asia.
**Expactations:** • 12+ years progressive experience in global sourcing and product development.
• 7+ years managing multi‑country teams.
• Proven track record scaling compliant sourcing networks in Asia and other global hubs.
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost modeling).
• Executive presence with influence over senior stakeholders.
• Experience in sourcing governance, KPI development, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Will travel 25–35% globally.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and execute short‑, mid‑ and long‑term sourcing strategies aligned with revenue and margin targets.
2. Build and scale a high‑performance supplier network across Asia and key manufacturing regions.
3. Optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) – cost, freight, lead time, quality, reliability.
4. Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Design, Logistics, and Operations to deliver seamless client outcomes.
5. Create sourcing dashboards, KPIs, and supplier scorecards; implement governance for RFPs, bids, and contracts.
6. Drive digital enablement, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
7. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling in collaboration with Finance.
8. Negotiate contracts, lead supplier performance reviews, and manage corrective action plans.
9. Ensure ethical, environmental, and social compliance; oversee audits and SLA accountability.
10. Lead a global team of 5‑7 direct reports across multiple time zones; develop succession plans and scalable structures.
11. Champion culture, accountability, and change management; communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders.
