Job Description: **Job Title:** Construction Cost Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead cost analysis, tender management, and project financial planning for construction projects. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop competitive proposals, optimize project methods, and maintain vendor relationships. **Expectations:** Proven ability to execute full-cycle project cost studies, sales proposal preparation, and financial optimization. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for multi-departmental collaboration and client engagement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct cost studies and analyze project budgets - Manage tender dossier preparation and submission processes - Support administrative, technical, and commercial teams in proposal development - Develop client needs analysis, address objections, and construct persuasive sales arguments - Prepare customized, value-added project proposals and technical reports - Visit construction sites to assess project requirements - Establish financial methodologies and feasibility studies for projects - Negotiate with suppliers and manage client-vendor relationships - Identify cost-saving optimizations and design alternatives - Track quotations, bids, and project submissions **Required Skills:** - Project cost estimation and financial modeling - Tender and bid management - Cross-functional team collaboration - Sales strategy and client negotiation - Technical report writing - Vendor relationship management - Construction site evaluation **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering or construction management - Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP), LEED AP, or Cost Engineering (CMA) preferred
