**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and automating operational processes to support continuous delivery and high availability. Works with development, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure deployments across multi‑cloud environments.
**Expectations:**
- 2–6 years of DevOps or SRE experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and handle on‑call duties.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or GCP using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Automate deployment and operational workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure, code, and cloud environments.
- Manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS).
- Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and participate in on‑call rotations.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline code integration and deployment pipelines.
- Support microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
**Required Skills:**
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Hands‑on scripting in Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and service meshes.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional / AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer / Professional Cloud Architect
