Job title: Wholesale Planner Role Summary: Produce accurate sales forecasts and budgeting for wholesale accounts, analyze market trends, and collaborate across Sales, Finance, and Logistics to optimize assortment strategy, inventory levels, and financial performance. Expactations: Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts, create market budgets and seasonal insight reports, analyze data to identify risks and opportunities, advise leadership on mitigation strategies, and implement comprehensive planning processes to support retail partners. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Logistics to generate accurate sales forecasts. - Build market budget and seasonal hindsight reports to inform assortment strategy. - Analyze historical data and current trends by department and class to identify risks and opportunities; recommend mitigation solutions. - Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop and communicate integrated financial and product strategies. - Prepare an annual shipping budget by account, season, delivery, and month based on sales trend and opportunity. - Work with department store partners on pre‑season sales, receipt, and gross‑margin plans. - Collect and analyze open‑to‑buy forecasts, re‑forecast sales, and coordinate with accounts to maintain optimal inventory levels. Required Skills: - 5+ years of planning experience (department store experience preferred). - Proficient in Excel; strong aptitude for learning new technical applications. - Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and propose actionable solutions. - Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills. - Strong independent judgment, initiative, multitasking, teamwork, and relationship‑building abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
