**Job Title:**
Vice President of Sales
**Role Summary:**
Senior executive leading commercial strategy and execution for multiple craft beer and cider brands. Responsible for building a high‑performing multi‑state sales organization, driving revenue and margin growth, managing wholesaler relationships, and partnering with cross‑functional teams on brand, marketing, operations, and finance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver on annual sales targets, revenue, and margin objectives.
- Expand distribution across new geographies, channels, and brands.
- Set up and maintain a scalable sales organization structure, incentives, and performance metrics.
- Maintain disciplined budget, trade spend, and pricing strategies.
- Report performance and strategic insights to senior leadership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term revenue growth plans aligned with company objectives.
- Build, lead, and coach a multi‑state, multi‑brand sales team; establish structure, roles, incentives, and performance expectations.
- Own senior‑level relationships with wholesalers and key retail partners; lead annual business planning, goal setting, and performance reviews.
- Create wholesale pricing, incentives, and programming; ensure consistency across all distributor partners.
- Own the sales budget; work with Finance on forecasting, pricing, profitability, and trade spend.
- Use industry data platforms (e.g., VIP, Circana, Nielsen) to inform decisions and adjust strategy.
- Partner with executive leadership on brand strategy, innovation launches, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain on demand planning and production alignment.
- Provide market intelligence to guide innovation, packaging, and portfolio strategy.
- Champion company culture, values, and brand equity as a senior leader.
**Required Skills:**
- 8–12+ years of senior sales leadership in craft beer, beverage alcohol, or related categories.
- Proven experience leading multi‑state, multi‑brand sales organizations.
- Deep understanding of wholesaler economics, pricing structures, and route‑to‑market dynamics.
- Advanced financial acumen: managing budgets, forecasts, and trade spend.
- Strong data‑driven decision making using VIP, Circana, Nielsen or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presence.
- Leadership capability to build structure, culture, and long‑term value.
- Willingness to travel (~50%) and hold a valid driver’s license.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- At least 21 years of age; clean driving record.
