**Job Title:** Software Release Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Coordinate and manage end-to-end software release processes across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD). Troubleshoot release issues, ensure smooth code promotion, and maintain release schedules for diverse client infrastructures. Operate within a hybrid setting, collaborating closely with development, operations, and QA teams.
**Expectations:**
- Availability for onsite hybrid work; must be capable of visiting office locations as required.
- Experience driving issue resolution in mid‑size or smaller company environments.
- Proactive ownership of release pipeline from planning to production.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, schedule, and execute releases for .NET, Java, Angular, and other application stacks.
- Manage Git/GitHub repositories, Jira tickets, and build automation tools.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve build, deployment, and production incidents.
- Monitor and maintain environment health and connectivity (firewalls, remote access, and SQL Server).
- Document release processes, create runbooks, and provide status reporting.
- Support DevOps activities such as containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide operational insights to product and engineering squads.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong technical troubleshooting in Windows Server environments, SQL Server, and network connectivity.
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub, Jira, and build/release orchestration tools.
- Experience with multi‑environment release management and coordinating staggered client schedules.
- Familiarity with .NET, Java, Angular, or equivalent development frameworks.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, small‑team culture and independently drive resolution.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus but not mandatory.
