**Job Title**
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
**Role Summary**
Strategic and hands‑on technology leader responsible for driving pre‑sales technical engagements, shipping production‑grade code, building and leading a high‑performing engineering team, and delivering AI‑agent integrations for customers. Acts as the primary technical liaison for regional customers and partners, translating market needs to the global product organization.
**Expectations**
- Lead technical aspects of sales cycles from early conversations to architecture and security design.
- Deliver high‑quality code and integration solutions while establishing engineering standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a cross‑functional technical team (engineering, integration, pre‑sales).
- Own end‑to‑end customer integration projects, ensuring successful deployment and production accuracy.
- Capture customer feedback, drive product localization, and represent regional requirements globally.
- Serve as the escalation point for technical issues and cultivate strategic technology partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct demos, solution presentations, and architecture reviews for prospective customers.
- Write, review, and ship production code; develop and maintain integration pipelines.
- Define and enforce software quality, security, and performance standards.
- Build and scale the technical organization from the ground up, including hiring and process development.
- Manage project scoping, timelines, and delivery of AI‑agent implementations.
- Communicate technical status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and support teams to align roadmap with market needs.
**Required Skills**
- 7‑8+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
- Proven track record in pre‑sales, solution architecture, or technical implementation (e.g., Field CTO, Solutions Architect, Deployed Engineer).
- Demonstrated leadership experience (Director, VP, Founder or equivalent).
- Strong English communication (written and spoken).
- Ability to operate independently in a zero‑to‑one, start‑up environment and build teams from scratch.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Preferred: Advanced degree (MSc/MBA) or relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
