**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Skilled DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure for an AI‑driven dental platform. Focus on CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, and security/compliance (HIPAA) to ensure high availability, scalability, and rapid delivery of ML workloads in a regulated health‑tech environment.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable, secure infrastructure as code.
- Achieve 99.99 % system uptime and rapid incident resolution.
- Enable fast, repeatable deployments for AI models and applications.
- Ensure compliance with health‑data regulations (HIPAA/SOC 2).
- Collaborate across engineering, data science, and leadership teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Provision and manage AWS/GCP resources (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE, VPCs, GPU instances) using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and conduct capacity planning.
- Automate security scans, compliance checks, and zero‑trust controls (Vault, Falco).
- Develop and maintain disaster‑recovery, cost‑optimization, and on‑call processes.
- Document runbooks, create infrastructure documentation, and promote DevOps best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- IaC expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/GKE).
- Scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Go).
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Linux/Unix administration, networking, databases, queues, load balancers.
- Security tooling (Vault, Falco) and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Preferred: ML‑ops experience (Kubeflow, SageMaker).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant certifications a plus (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.).
