Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Learning Designer – 11+ (12‑month FTC) **Role Summary:** Support the Education team in designing, editing, and proofreading assessment content for KS1‑KS3 in English, Reasoning, and Maths. Work with senior learning designers and cross‑functional teams to ensure content meets specifications, brand guidelines, and delivers high‑quality educational value. **Expectations:** - Deliver polished assessment material within agreed deadlines. - Collaborate effectively with content, design, and product teams. - Apply self‑leadership and time‑management to maintain productivity in a remote environment. - Incorporate continuous learning about the science of learning and pedagogical best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research curriculum standards and develop assessment questions and answers aligned with KS1‑KS3. - Create, edit, revise, and proofread assessment content ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines. - Update, brief, and coordinate with internal teams (e.g., design, product, marketing) to integrate educational value. - Manage visual design tools (e.g., Figma) to prepare assets for print and digital formats. - Participate in project management activities, help schedule deliverables, and track progress. - Seek feedback from senior learning designers and iterate content accordingly. **Required Skills:** - Strong written communication, keen eye for detail, and proofreading ability. - Tech‑savvy, quick to learn and use educational software and design tools (Figma preferred). - Recent teaching or tuition experience, preferably with 11+ or secondary exam preparation. - Time‑management, self‑leadership, and teamwork capabilities. - Creative problem‑solving aptitude and interest in educational psychology and learning sciences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Recent university graduate or completion of teacher training (qualified teacher status or equivalent). ---
