Job Title: Integration Architect – Commodity, Energy, FX, or Trading Projects
Role Summary:
Design, architect, and deliver enterprise‑scale integration solutions for commodity, energy, FX, or trading environments. Align solutions with global architectural standards, reference architectures, and IT strategic roadmaps while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Expectations:
- Act as a senior contributor and small team lead, providing architectural guidance and assurance across key projects.
- Translate global architectural guidelines into actionable solutions, resolve technical challenges, and recommend optimisations that enhance business performance.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and represent architecture expertise externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver solution architecture, consultancy, and assurance for major integration projects.
- Ensure applications are well designed, integrated, and compliant with global standards and reference/segment architectures.
- Translate architectural guidelines into practical solutions and resolve common technical challenges.
- Provide technical recommendations that positively impact business performance.
- Identify, develop, and implement new technologies and optimisation opportunities.
- Contribute to training and guidance for other professionals; represent the organisation as a subject matter expert.
- Apply TOE (Technology, Operations, Enterprise) standards and raise step‑outs where required.
- Use standard architecture tools such as IBM System Architect, PowerDesigner, and ProVision, promoting artefact reuse.
- Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders.
- Apply the IT Strategic Roadmap, leveraging reference architectures for Cloud, Mobile, Integration, OpenSource, Big Data, and more.
- Deliver integration solutions specifically within commodity trading, energy trading, FX, or financial trading environments.
Required Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management with proactive, cross‑team engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong business acumen to link architecture decisions to business value.
- Deep experience in integration architecture and enterprise‑scale solution design.
- Background in commodity, energy, FX, or trading project environments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification in integration architecture or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Certified Integration Specialist) preferred.
