Job title: Salesforce Developer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions integrated with .NET and database systems, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
Expectations:
- 4+ years software development experience; 1–2 years Salesforce development.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework 3.5+ (MVC, C#), IIS 7.5+, WCF/REST services, and XML.
- Strong background in T‑SQL, SSRS reporting, and web application development.
- Deliver high‑quality code, meet project timelines, and participate in code reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and custom Salesforce configurations (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules).
- Develop, test, and deploy Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and related Salesforce code.
- Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (design specs, code comments, user guides).
- Keep abreast of Salesforce releases and best practices; implement improvements.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns.
- .NET: C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WebAPI, IIS, XML.
- Databases: T‑SQL, relational database design, complex query optimization.
- Reporting: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Middleware & APIs: Experience with integration middleware and RESTful services.
- Problem‑solving, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Collaboration, clear communication, and adherence to coding standards.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) preferred but not mandatory.
