Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Endpoint Engineer (L3/L4) **Role Summary** Provide senior‑level endpoint engineering and operational support for a highly regulated Fortune 500 life sciences environment with ~16k–17k Windows endpoints. Anchor endpoint expertise in the U.S. time zone, ensuring audit‑readiness, incident credibility, and efficient representation of IT during critical escalations. Serve as the regional point of contact for site IT and maintain secure, compliant endpoint operations. **Expectations** - Deliver advanced L3/L4 troubleshooting for Windows 10 GA & LTSC, Windows 11 IoT LTSC, and related endpoint tools. - Act as the primary technical contact for P1/P2 incidents, diagnosing endpoint causes and coordinating with AD, PKI, networking, and application teams. - Maintain regulatory compliance and audit readiness in a GxP‑regulated environment. - Foster automation, documentation, and effective communication across end‑users, IT peers, and management. **Key Responsibilities** - Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows endpoint issues (OS, SCCM, Intune, hybrid Entra join). - Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for configuration, compliance, and issue resolution. - Develop and update SOPs, WIs, KB articles, and service documentation. - Lead incident response for P1/P2 events, coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring timely resolution. - Serve as the local point of contact for endpoint services, maintaining communication with site leaders and MSPs. - Apply automation (PowerShell, AI‑driven tools) to streamline processes, improve compliance, and accelerate problem resolution. - Ensure all endpoint changes pass ITSM change control and regulatory requirements. - Analyze endpoint data (Excel, SQL/Equiv.) to identify trends and recommend improvements. **Required Skills** - 8+ years enterprise Windows endpoint management experience. - Expert SCCM/ConfigMgr (client, OS deployment, patching, application deployment). - Deep Windows OS internals knowledge (AD integration, authentication, security policies). - Proficiency with GPO configuration and deployment. - Familiarity with AD, PKI, basic networking fundamentals. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - U.S. time zone coverage; Northeast U.S. preferred. **Preferred Skills** - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, filtering, data analysis). - Understanding of GxP, FDA GAMP 5, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, and other regulatory/compliance frameworks. - Experience with Intune and Azure AD/Entra. - PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting. - Experience drafting technical and user‑facing communications. - Familiarity with SQL or equivalent querying tools. - Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, pharma, med devices) and exposure to OT endpoints. - Knowledge of AI‑assisted automation or observability tooling. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent). - ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or equivalent ITIL process experience. - (Preferred) Additional certifications in SCCM, PowerShell, Azure AD, or related technologies.
