Job Description
Job Title: Analyst, Marketing Science Role Summary: Conduct quantitative analysis of marketing data to build attribution and marketing mix models. Process large datasets, develop insights, automate workflows, and present findings in clear, client‑ready formats. Expectations: • 1–2 years experience in data‑driven, quantitative field (media, analytics, or related coursework). • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, math, CS, economics, engineering, info management, social sciences, business/marketing); Master’s preferred. • Ability to translate complex statistical results into concise narratives for non‑technical audiences. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and transform media and client data using SQL, R, and Excel. - Build and maintain statistical models for attribution and marketing mix modeling. - Develop automated data pipelines and front‑end utilities (e.g., dashboards). - Create client presentations, summarizing key results, recommendations, and actionable insights. - Track project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements. - Evaluate analytics and technology vendors for client needs. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders to refine analysis and strategy. Required Skills: - Proficient in SQL, R (scripting), Excel. - Basic knowledge of RShiny or Dash; familiarity with web app frameworks (CSS, HTML, JavaScript). - Experience with data visualization tools (QlikView, Plotly, Tableau, SAS). - Understanding of marketing mix modeling and econometric analysis. - Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (DMAs), ad‑serving (Google DCM, Atlas), and web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing. - Master’s degree preferred; no specific professional certifications required.
