Job Description
**Job Title:** Front End Developer Intern (Data Visualization Focus) **Role Summary:** Remote internship delivering interactive, data‑driven dashboards using D3.js and React. Candidates will retrieve and integrate data via GraphQL APIs, support data‑analytics workflows, and employ AI‑assisted development tools. The role offers hands‑on experience in front‑end development, data visualization, and analytics within a collaborative, flexible environment. **Expectations:** - Proactive, self‑managed contributor able to balance multiple tasks. - Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well‑documented code. - Continuous learning of emerging visualization and analytics technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards with D3.js and React. - Retrieve, transform, and integrate data from GraphQL APIs for dashboard consumption. - Support data cleaning, manipulation, and transformation pipelines. - Apply analytical methods to extract trends and actionable insights. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on data acquisition, storage, and governance. - Leverage AI tools (code assistants, data analysis utilities) to improve development efficiency. - Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve front‑end issues. - Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and assist with ad‑hoc projects. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL. - Strong experience with D3.js and React for interactive visualizations. - Hands‑on experience consuming GraphQL APIs. - Familiarity with data‑visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn). - Ability to use AI coding assistants for efficiency and debugging. - Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field). - No specific certifications required; coursework in web development, data analytics, or related areas is expected.
