**Job Title:** AI / Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions that transform complex data into actionable business insights. Collaborate with engineering, product, and domain teams to build scalable models, pipelines, and experiments that deliver measurable impact.
**Expectations:**
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience building and productionizing ML/AI models.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and associated data‑science libraries.
- Ability to communicate technical results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end AI solutions on cloud platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, train, and evaluate ML/DL models (classification, regression, NLP, computer vision, generative).
- Create scalable data pipelines for feature engineering, model training, and real‑time inference (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Partner with engineering to deploy models, set up monitoring, and ensure performance stability.
- Apply statistical and causal inference methods to analyze business data.
- Design and run experiments (A/B tests, quasi‑experiments) to measure impact.
- Prototype and integrate LLMs, embeddings, and multimodal AI using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain.
- Produce visualizations, dashboards, and presentations of findings.
**Required Skills:**
- Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- LLM fine‑tuning, embeddings, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
- SQL and data‑processing frameworks (Spark, PySpark, AWS Glue).
- Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, SageMaker, Databricks, Kubeflow).
- Probability, statistics, experiment design, and causal inference.
- API development, microservices, Git version control.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, **or** equivalent practical experience.
- No specific certifications required, but demonstrated expertise through projects, publications, or open‑source contributions is valued.
