Job Description
**Job title:** Product Development Manager (F/M) **Role Summary:** A Product Development Manager leads cross‑functional teams to deliver new cosmetic products and catalogue changes from marketing brief to distribution launch, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets. Works closely with internal experts, external suppliers, and the LVMH laboratory, while driving process optimisation and KPI monitoring. **Expactations:** * Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. * Maintain clear communication with marketing, procurement, supply chain, quality, and R&D partners. * Lead and develop a product development project manager. * Champion continuous improvement of tools and processes (e.g., Asana). **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and manage development timelines for assigned product portfolio (launches and catalogue modifications). - Assess feasibility of projects with R&D, quality, and external suppliers; identify risks and action plans. - Coordinate progress with subcontractors; conduct weekly project review meetings with stakeholders. - Escalate and present project status, risks, and corrective actions to senior management. - Drive milestone approvals, ensuring financial checkpoints are met on schedule. - Oversee catalogue updates (reformulation, repackaging) in collaboration with the project manager. - Serve as the primary liaison for marketing within the portfolio. - Manage the project manager’s workload, performance, and development. - Lead process and tool optimisation initiatives; monitor service KPIs (OTIF, on‑time milestones). **Required Skills:** - Project management with strong organizational and prioritisation abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adept at stakeholder engagement and team motivation. - Ability to challenge and influence cross‑functional partners. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana). - Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent in project management. - Minimum 7–8 years of experience in product development, with at least 1 year in cosmetics and external supplier coordination. - Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred but not mandatory.
