Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments, primarily on Azure, to support a global product ecosystem. Lead automation of build, release, and deployment pipelines, develop tooling for monitoring and security, and ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of production systems. Expectations: Deliver robust, repeatable infrastructure and deployment solutions that meet or exceed performance, security, and reliability metrics; maintain operational excellence through continuous improvement of CI/CD workflows; provide expert troubleshooting and incident response for complex system issues. Key Responsibilities - Architect and implement Azure-based infrastructure using IaC (e.g., Terraform). - Automate build, test, and release pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.) to accelerate delivery cycles. - Develop and maintain deployment, monitoring, and security tooling. - Own configuration management and provisioning via tools such as Ansible. - Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). - Ensure system availability, performance, and security across a microservices architecture. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues affecting critical platforms and applications. - Identify, propose, and implement improvements to CI/CD and infrastructure processes. - Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices and enable rapid release cadences. Required Skills - Proven experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD). - Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Perl). - Hands‑on Azure cloud experience; familiarity with AWS/GCP is a plus. - Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). - Solid experience with IaC tools – Terraform primary. - Experience with configuration management (Ansible). - Implementing and managing monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). - Understanding of microservice architectures and API management. - Background supporting high‑availability, secure enterprise systems; financial‑services exposure desirable.
