Data Scientist
**Role Summary**
Lead data science initiatives end‑to‑end, translating business goals into scalable AI/ML solutions on Azure, ensuring reliable model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
**Expectations**
Deliver measurable business value through data‑driven insights, maintain high model performance, adhere to data governance, and collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders in an agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define problems, discover data, and drive the full data science lifecycle.
- Translate strategic objectives into ML/AI solutions that generate tangible ROI.
- Source, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data using scalable, production‑ready methods.
- Design, validate, experiment, and deploy statistical and machine‑learning models, including A/B testing.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines (version control, CI/CD, model registries, monitoring, retraining).
- Operate within Azure data and analytics platforms (Databricks, Azure AI Foundry) to support scalable architecture.
- Enforce data governance standards—quality, documentation, lineage, privacy, security, and ethical AI.
- Produce clear technical and business documentation for maintainability and reusability.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks.
- Deep understanding of statistical and machine‑learning techniques.
- Experience with MLOps, experimentation, model monitoring, and tools such as MLFlow.
- Familiarity with Azure data and AI platforms, including GenAI frameworks.
- Knowledge of data governance and enterprise data environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex concepts to business audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Post‑academic experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
