Job Description

Job Title: IT Systems and Security Engineer Role Summary: Design, deploy, and support Microsoft‑centric infrastructure and WatchGuard security solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring high availability, compliance, and optimal performance. Expectations: • Minimum 10 years of system administration and security experience. • Independent project management and multitasking across concurrent client engagements. • Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune). - Administrate Azure AD/Entra ID, identity and access management, security, compliance, and Powershell automation. - Implement and maintain WatchGuard firewalls, MFA (Microsoft or WatchGuard), VPNs, network segmentation, and web filtering. - Manage Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO). - Oversee virtualization (Hyper‑V, VMware) and backup/recovery with Veeam or equivalent. - Provide on‑site and remote support, troubleshoot incidents, and document solutions. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Microsoft ecosystems (Office 365, Azure, Windows Server). - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. - Knowledge of WatchGuard firewall products and global network security best practices. - Experience with VPN technologies, network segmentation, and web filtering. - Virtualization and backup technologies (Hyper‑V, VMware, Veeam). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Professional certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, WatchGuard Certified Network Security Specialist.
