**Job Title** Sales Account Executive – Airline Trade and Agency Sales **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth in a designated geographic area by acquiring, managing, and expanding airline travel agency and trade partner accounts. Collaborate with global sales, marketing, and operations teams to create tailored proposals, negotiate agreements, and implement account plans that increase market penetration and diversify the agency base while minimizing inventory risk. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned region. - Build and sustain long‑term relationships with travel agencies, wholesalers, distributors, and retail partners. - Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date account information in CRM (Salesforce). - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Account Acquisition & Onboarding** – Identify and secure new travel agency accounts to increase market share. 2. **Proposal & Negotiation** – Prepare customized sales proposals and negotiate incentive agreements aligned with partner needs and company objectives. 3. **Strategic Planning** – Develop comprehensive account plans that outline sales strategies, revenue targets, and action steps; adjust plans based on market dynamics and performance metrics. 4. **Sales Target Management** – Achieve individual and team sales goals; collaborate with Area/ Country Managers to set and track targets. 5. **Market & Trend Analysis** – Conduct research on aviation market trends, customer segments, competitor activity, and inventory risks; provide insights for route and timing decisions. 6. **Relationship Management** – Maintain regular communication with channel, trade, and corporate clients; deliver product presentations and updates on new offers and developments. 7. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** – Work with marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction. 8. **Compliance & Record Keeping** – Ensure all account details comply with regulations and internal policies; keep Salesforce records current. **Required Skills** - Proven account management experience (minimum 2 years) in airline or travel industry sales. - Strong negotiation and proposal development skills. - Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable plans. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building partner relationships. - Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. - Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market presence. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field. - Any relevant sales or customer‑relationship certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) will be an advantage.
