Job Description
**Job Title**: SAP Procurement Project Manager **Role Summary**: Oversees SAP MM (Materials Management) operations, drives procurement system improvements, and leads reporting and process optimization initiatives within a procurement team. **Expectations**: Collaborate with IT, finance, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and system alignment with business needs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Maintain and validate procurement data integrity (items, suppliers, contracts) in SAP. - Manage procurement contracts and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with procedures. - Support period closure activities for SAP MM. - Develop performance dashboards to track procurement metrics and identify process gaps. - Analyze deviations, delays, and financial/operational discrepancies to implement corrective actions. - Contribute to SAP system upgrades and core model evolution in collaboration with IT and procurement leadership. - Update functional documentation and provide end-user training for SAP modules. - Act as a bridge between operational teams, IT, and external partners to resolve technical and process issues. **Required Skills**: - Strong SAP MM expertise and functional BO (Business Objects) knowledge. - Advanced Excel proficiency (TCD, VLOOKUP, VBA macros). - Analytical skills for data interpretation and process improvement. - Communication and interpersonal abilities to manage internal stakeholders effectively. - Adaptability to work with diverse teams (finance, procurement, audit, IT). - Training and mentoring capabilities for SAP user onboarding. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in Procurement, Logistics, Commerce, or IT. - Minimum 3 years of functional SAP experience in procurement or master data roles. - Preferred: SAP MM certifications or related qualifications.
