Job title: R&D Senior Engineer II Role Summary: Senior engineer responsible for leading design and development workstreams for medical device subsystems or components within Avanos Medical’s New Product Development (NPD) organization. Drives engineering excellence, ensures compliance with regulatory, safety, and business requirements, and mentors junior engineers. Expectations: Deliver complete product development life‑cycle (PDP) activities for assigned subsystems, from concept through production. Maintain design control, DFM/DFA compliance, and manufacturability; manage risk, verification, and validation; support intellectual property development; collaborate cross‑functionally and mentor team members.
