Urban Pubs & Bars was founded in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malc Heap and has since expanded to an estate of 58 pubs, bars and restaurants across London. Our ethos focuses on acquiring the best sites in the right locations and recruiting exceptional operators who are as passionate about food and drink as we are. Establishing the right offer and investing in the right areas is key, whilst devoting time and attention to the team that operate those sites is a major part of that investment. Ranked number 28 in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 list, nominated for 2 Publican Awards in 2020, winning the award for 'Best Managed Pub Company - 2-50 sites' on the night, awarded 'Best Food-led Pub Company 2021' at the R200 awards and recently winning the '2023 Best Managed Pub Company' at the Publican Awards. Job Description
Job title: Marketing Executive Role Summary: Lead integrated marketing initiatives for a hospitality group’s portfolio of pubs, bars, and restaurants, overseeing website management, SEO, event promotion, and social media engagement to drive brand awareness and community growth. Expactations: - Own day‑to‑day marketing operations across all venues and digital platforms. - Deliver measurable campaign results through data‑driven analysis. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration while maintaining a strong brand voice. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a CMS‑based website ensuring SEO‑best‑practice compliance and up‑to‑date content. - Write and coordinate event copy, listings, and promotional materials. - Grow and engage audiences on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. - Analyze marketing campaigns, prepare performance reports, and recommend optimizations. - Research industry trends and propose fresh content and event ideas. - Assist in planning and execution of venue events and associated marketing collateral. Required Skills: - Minimum 1 year of professional marketing experience. - Strong written communication and creative copywriting. - Proficiency with social media platforms (FB/IG/TikTok/LinkedIn). - Basic digital marketing knowledge: SEO, SEM, analytics, CMS. - Advanced MS Office proficiency; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. - Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred). - Certifications or coursework in Adobe Creative Cloud, CMS/CRM systems, SEO/SEM, or digital marketing.
