Job Description
**Job title** Sales Promoter – Grocery Sales (GMS) **Role Summary** Drive sales and market presence of a wine product line across French grocery and hypermarket chains. Coordinate trade marketing, merchandising, and direct store sales activities to achieve revenue targets and strengthen brand visibility. **Expectations** - Proven experience in a similar GMS sales/promotions role. - Valid driver’s licence (B). - Strong commercial acumen, excellent customer service, and negotiation skills. - Autonomy, initiative, and rigorous execution. - Passion for field activity, prospecting, and direct client interaction. - Results‑oriented mindset. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop revenue by managing direct sales to self‑service food retailers and monitoring sector performance. - Plan and implement in‑store promotional activities to increase visibility and drive sales. - Set up and track the effectiveness of national or regional agreements with partners. - Ensure shelf availability: verify product placement, monitor stock levels, and coordinate replenishment. - Design and deploy merchandising actions: optimal layout, attractive point‑of‑sale materials, and product highlighting. - Manage direct store sales from shelf arrangement to order handling in collaboration with the Sales Manager. - Organize and execute store‑level commercial events, including tastings, to enhance brand awareness. - Represent the brand at trade shows and support the creation of promotional collateral (sales plans, shelf‑level displays, POP, etc.). **Required Skills** - Sales strategy & execution in a GMS environment. - Trade marketing and visual merchandising knowledge. - Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management. - Self‑management, initiative, and organizational precision. - Field‑work readiness and willingness to travel within assigned territories. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or related field (preferred). - Valid driver’s licence (B).
