Job Title: AWS Network Security Engineer Role Summary: Maintain and secure a 100% cloud-based AWS IT system within a remote infrastructure team. Focus on evolving and safeguarding network, cloud, and Microsoft environments through technical leadership and security optimization. Expactations: - Minimum 4 years professional experience in network/security/cloud roles. - Proven AWS experience (security and infrastructure administration). - Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Bac+5). Key Responsibilities: 1. Administer and configure Palo Alto firewalls (policies, VPNs, segmentation). 2. Operate security tools (Cortex, EDR, Prisma Cloud, network logs) and triage alerts. 3. Ensure cloud infrastructure security and availability in AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3). 4. Manage cloud outsourced services and maintain Terraform-based architectures. 5. Evolve cloud systems (security, optimization, and compliance). 6. Support Microsoft Windows Server, AD, DNS, PKI, and Microsoft 365 security (MFA, logs). Required Skills: - Advanced network/security expertise: firewalling, routing, segmentation, and threat mitigation. - Hands-on Palo Alto firewall operation. - AWS environment mastery (security best practices, VPC, IAM, S3). - Solid Microsoft stack proficiency: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, PKI. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science. - Professional AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Security Specialty) and/or Palo Alto certifications preferred.
