Job Title Systems and Networks Administrator (M/F) Role Summary Ensure the reliable operation, security, and continuous evolution of the organization’s IT infrastructure, covering servers, networks, virtualisation, storage, backup, databases, and collaborative tools, while supporting users and technical teams. Expectations - Deliver high availability, performance, and security for all infrastructure components. - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose incidents, and propose improvements. - Participate actively in IT projects (infrastructure upgrades, migrations, tool integration). - Maintain accurate technical documentation and support end‑user training. - Contribute to cybersecurity, quality, and sustainable IT practices. - Liaise with vendors and manage related workflows. - Demonstrate professional English, technical competence, and adherence to safety standards (Electrical Habilitation B0‑B0S‑BE). Key Responsibilities 1. Administer and monitor Windows Server and Linux systems. 2. Manage network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalling). 3. Deploy, maintain, and optimise virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS). 4. Implement and supervise backup solutions and database systems. 5. Develop and run scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation. 6. Diagnose and resolve technical issues; recommend enhancements. 7. Execute preventive maintenance and corrective actions. 8. Draft and update technical procedures, configuration guides, and dashboards. 9. Train and assist users, and mentor junior system/network technicians. 10. Support integration of telephony and other communication tools. 11. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, quality, and environmental standards. Required Skills - Proficient with Windows Server and Linux administration. - Strong network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewall configuration). - Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage (SAN/NAS). - Working knowledge of backup solutions and relational databases. - Scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python). - Professional technical English. - Analytical mindset, proactive prioritisation, and ability to work autonomously. - Excellent interpersonal, teaching, and collaborative skills. - Electrical safety qualification (B0‑B0S‑BE) required. Required Education & Certifications - Higher education degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in systems and networks administration. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Linux Professional Institute, VMware Certified Professional) are desirable but not mandatory.
