Job Description
Job title: Business Analyst Role Summary: A Business Analyst who leads and oversees end‑to‑end solution delivery within the Financial Services and Technology sector. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to capture, validate and prioritize functional and non‑functional requirements, produce use cases, process maps and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Expactations: - Deliver comprehensive solution documentation that meets business, functional and industry standards. - Manage project estimates, scope, change requests and risk logs, escalating issues as needed. - Facilitate workshops and presentations with clients to clarify goals and capture requirements. - Coordinate handover to Business As Usual teams and support continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead requirement elicitation, planning, validation, baselining and sign‑off with clients and executive stakeholders. - Produce use cases, process maps and traceability matrices. - Provide guidance to project teams, ensuring solutions stay aligned to requirements. - Review and monitor Business Analyst estimates; manage cost and scope variances. - Contribute to risk/issue logs, status reports, scope change documents, mapping specifications, test plans and test cases. - Identify product gaps, provide feedback to Product Management, and support road‑map development. - Manage change processes throughout project life‑cycle. - Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives with senior analysts. Required Skills: - Proven Business Analysis experience in project delivery. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience in process mapping and creating use cases. - Ability to manage workload against deadlines and work independently. - Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to think creatively. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience related to the role. - BCS Business Analysis certification (desirable).
