Artificial Intelligence Specialist
**Role Summary**
Contract senior AI architect responsible for designing, building, and deploying production‑grade AI applications on Azure. Focus on large language models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen). Lead cloud architecture, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end AI products that integrate LLMs, RAG, and autonomous workflows.
- Establish architectural best practices and standards for AI/ML services within Azure.
- Mentor and influence engineering, DevOps, and data science teams.
- Ensure AI systems meet enterprise security, governance, and performance requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and develop AI applications for summarization, generation, Q&A, and reasoning using state‑of‑the‑art LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral).
- Implement agentic AI frameworks to create autonomous or semi‑autonomous workflows.
- Design scalable AI/ML service deployment, model orchestration, and monitoring on Azure.
- Build full‑stack solutions, integrating secure back‑end AI services with front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Lead MLOps/DevOps collaboration to develop CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
- Provide technical leadership and shape AI strategy across the programme.
- Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for auditability.
**Required Skills**
- 8+ years of software architecture or enterprise solution design experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on AI/ML development, with deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems.
- Strong Azure cloud architecture expertise (AKS, Azure Functions, Azure ML, Cosmos DB).
- Proficiency in model orchestration, deployment, and monitoring tools (MLflow, Azure Monitor).
- Full‑stack development skills: backend (Python, .NET, Node.js) and front‑end (React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration for AI workloads.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate) preferred.
- Additional certifications in AI/ML or cloud security are advantageous.
