Job Description
Job Title: Tier 1 Windows Systems Administrator Role Summary: Provide first‑line technical support for Windows desktops, servers, and associated Microsoft environments, resolving incidents, managing user accounts, and maintaining inventory and compliance. Expectations: Deliver timely, high‑quality service within defined SLAs, maintain accurate documentation, support onboarding/offboarding and licensing processes, and contribute to knowledge base and IT governance. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to Windows desktop/server support tickets via phone, email, or helpdesk system. - Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, AD, and standard applications. - Perform account management (password resets, lockouts, group changes). - Monitor alerts, assist with routine incident response, and execute standard maintenance tasks (installations, updates, reboots). - Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 engineers. - Manage user inventory and licensing (devices, peripherals, Verizon air cards). - Administer door badge system, Verizon cell accounts, and VPN support. - Build, deploy, and update workstation/tablet build images. - Support MFA, Exchange 365 mailbox management, journaling, and email records requests. - Manage NTFS permissions, printer deployments, and print server configurations. - Maintain knowledge‑base articles, run audits, produce reports, and survey users for satisfaction. - Provide interim support to help desk staff as needed. Required Skills: - 2+ years IT support/helpdesk experience. - Proficient with Windows 10/11, MS 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. - Core understanding of networking, multi‑factor authentication, and support ticketing systems. - Excellent customer service, communication, and independent work ability. - Basic scripting (PowerShell) knowledge an advantage. - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle equipment. **Job title:** Okta Consultant **Role Summary:** Provide advanced engineering analysis, design, and implementation expertise for Okta and complementary security tools within an Enterprise Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) program. Deliver architecture guidance, administer tool stack, conduct cross‑bureau technical sessions, and draft policy documents to support security posture and risk mitigation. **Expectations:** - Independently analyze complex security requirements and apply creative, technical solutions. - Lead or coach junior engineers on Okta and related tool integration. - Communicate findings and recommendations through briefings, white papers, and policy documents. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and test custom Okta integrations and related security controls. - Administer and troubleshoot CDM/ZTA tool stack (Tenable Nessus, HCL BigFix, SailPoint, Axonius, Cloudflare, etc.). - Conduct technical working sessions with stakeholders to harmonize existing and new capabilities. - Draft and maintain architecture guidance, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and policy documents for CDM/ZTA. - Provide architecture and risk insights in presentations, emails, and written reports. **Required Skills:** - Strong Okta developer/administrator expertise (SSO, MFA, API integration). - Experience with CDM/ZTA frameworks and related tools (Nessus, BigFix, SailPoint, Axonius, Cloudflare). - Knowledge of information security architecture, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation. - Ability to produce clear technical documentation, white‑papers, and concise policy artifacts. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Professional certifications: Okta Certified Developer / Administrator, and one of the following – CISSP, CISA, CEH, or equivalent Zero‑Trust/Cloud security credential.
