Job Description

**Job Title:** Maintenance Automation Engineer **Role Summary:** Perform electrical and automation engineering studies, design and retrofit industrial automation systems, and provide on‑site commissioning and support. Travel nationally for installations and maintenance within a 100 km radius of Pouzauges and occasional longer trips. **Expectations:** - Demonstrated experience in maintenance automation and industrial electricity. - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly. - Strong reading of electrical schematics and technical drawings. - Willingness to travel regularly across France. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct electrical design studies and automation analyses to improve existing processes. - Execute retrofits of industrial equipment to extend machine life. - Integrate and program PLCs, HMI panels, vision systems, and robots on‑site. - Perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at client locations. - Provide technical support and documentation for installed systems. **Required Skills:** - Proven maintenance automation background (5+ years). - Industrial electrical knowledge applied to automated systems. - PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, etc.). - HMI development and configuration. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical plans. - Troubleshooting and fault‑finding expertise. - Familiarity with vision systems and robotic programming (preferred). - Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Technical degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related field (e.g., BTS, DUT, B.Tech). - Relevant certifications in PLC programming, automation, or industrial electricity (optional but advantageous).
