Job Description
Job Title: Software Verification Engineer Role Summary Design, execute, and document verification activities for safety‑critical embedded graphics and compute drivers in avionics and automotive domains. Deliver traceable test evidence to support DO‑178C DAL A / ISO26262 ASIL D certification. Expectations • Self‑driven, innovative, and resourceful. • Strong written and verbal communication. • Commitment to quality, safety, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Develop formal test cases, procedures, and results documentation. • Conduct traceability and test coverage analysis. • Review and sign off documentation. • Perform peer reviews of test procedures and support engineering reviews. • Log and track problem reports. • Maintain compliance with DO‑178C and ISO26262 safety certification processes. Required Skills • Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenVX, EGL, and other Khronos Group standards. • Experience with code‑coverage tools and test‑management tools (GIT, DOORS, Rational Test Real Time, Cantata). • Proficiency in C and Python. • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and safety‑certification requirements. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience with DO‑178C standards; ISO26262 experience preferred. • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required.
