Job Description

Job title: Recruitment Trainee Role Summary: Assist the recruitment team with sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate file preparation for life‑science roles, gaining hands‑on experience in modern hiring techniques. Expectations: - Complete a six‑month internship under the supervision of senior recruiters. - Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. - Show curiosity, persistence, and adaptability, especially when working with scientific talent pools. - Be open to learning advanced sourcing methodologies and, if motivated, participate in business‑development tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Execute sourcing campaigns using digital tools, social networks, and telephone outreach. - Conduct phone pre‑qualifications and assess candidate suitability. - Arrange and participate in candidate interviews, noting competencies and fit. - Compile complete candidate dossiers for client presentation. - Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system. Required Skills: - Proficiency in candidate sourcing and recruitment best practices. - Strong telephone and interview skills. - Effective written communication in French and basic English; advanced English is a plus. - Adept with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Comfortable navigating social media platforms for talent acquisition. - High level of self‑motivation, time management, and teamwork. Required Education & Certifications: - Enrolled in or recent graduate of a university or business school program (Bachelor’s to Master’s level). - Background in business, HR, or biological sciences strongly recommended. - No specific certifications required; willingness to complete in‑house training.
