**Job Title**
IP Network Administrator
**Role Summary**
Responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and security of all IP switching, routing, and associated network equipment. Works under the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team lead to ensure network reliability, performance, and adherence to established processes and standards.
**Expectations**
- Managing end‑to‑end network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver network solutions.
- Maintaining compliance with organizational processes, security policies, and industry best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IP routing and switching networks.
- Implement, configure, and manage Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco firewall solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize Wi‑Fi networks.
- Configure advanced routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and segmentation/segregation of sub‑networks.
- Manage VPN, SD‑WAN, and SASE solutions.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Apply and enforce firewall policy protocols and security controls.
- Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Document configurations, policies, and network topologies.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency with IP switching, routing, and advanced protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Strong experience with firewall management (Fortinet, Cisco).
- Expertise in Wi‑Fi design and deployment.
- Knowledge of subnet segmentation, VPN, SD‑WAN, and SASE.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex network problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Self‑driven, customer‑service orientation, adaptability, and creativity.
- Fluent in French; English sufficient for technical documentation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of network administration experience, preferably with IP networking specialization.
- Relevant IP networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent) are considered a plus.
