Job Description
Job title: ServiceNow Architect Role Summary: Design, architect, and lead the implementation of ServiceNow solutions to improve business processes and operational excellence. Works cross‑functionally with IT, security, project management, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑value, scalable ServiceNow enhancements and integrations. Expectations: - Translate business requirements into architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps. - Ensure governance, best practices, and on‑time go‑live for all ServiceNow projects. - Mentor and develop internal staff into long‑term ServiceNow functional resources. Key Responsibilities: - Lead solution design across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SPM, Discovery, Orchestration, etc.). - Own technical delivery: UI, workflow, reporting, integration components (SSO, LDAP, REST, SOAP, emails). - Develop technical strategies, upgrade plans, and integration roadmaps. - Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge transfer to users and IT staff. - Create architecture diagrams, design specs, and implementation documentation. - Provide support for non‑business‑hour releases and migrations. - Evaluate potential challenges and propose innovative mitigation strategies. Required Skills: - 5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect, 7+ cumulative years on ServiceNow platform. - Deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, architecture, and governance. - Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies. - Integration experience with REST, SOAP, email, and other APIs. - Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, analytical, and leadership abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (any field) or equivalent education/experience. - Preferred: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline. - Certifications: - ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – required. - Certified ServiceNow System Administrator, Implementation Specialist, Application Developer (CAD), or Master Architect – preferred. - ServiceNow certifications in ITSM (CIS‑ITSM), ITOM (CIS‑ITOM), ITAM (CIS‑HAM, CIS‑SAM). - PMP or Certified Scrum Master. - Preferred additional: Experience with ServiceNow GenAI (Now Assist).
