Job Description
**Job Title:** Inventory Analyst **Role Summary:** Responsible for maintaining and analyzing inventory records, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and cycle counts within a perpetual inventory environment. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to identify discrepancies, optimize inventory accuracy, and support audit and reporting functions. **Expectations:** - Deliver reliable inventory data to support operations, finance, and audit requirements. - Maintain high accuracy in record keeping and identify root causes of variances. - Use data analytics to drive decisions on inventory optimization and process improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and analyze daily/weekly inventory adjustment records. - Collect, enter, and analyze inventory data in the ERP system. - Coordinate cycle count programs across multiple sites and resolve discrepancies. - Reconcile and track expired returns for multiple locations. - Perform data analysis and write audits of returns, inventory movement, and related procedures. - Provide audit materials to internal and external auditors. - Research and document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. - Liaise with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes. - Prepare ad‑hoc reports (sales, projections, etc.) for management. - Comply with compliance policies and report allegations of impropriety. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, nested functions, database connections). - Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains preferred). - Ability to perform SQL queries. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects. - Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. - 3–5 years of analytical experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, or financial analysis (pharmacy background is a plus).
