Job Description
**Job Title** Warehouse Coordinator **Role Summary** Coordinate harbour and warehouse operations for an offshore wind farm project, ensuring safety compliance, inventory management, and efficient logistics support to construction teams. **Expectations** - Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. - Deliver timely and accurate data for PPE certification and stock levels. - Respond to site emergencies and off‑hours support requests. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist HSE with harbour‑site safety issues. - Manage inventory, usage, and service life of PPE and climbing gear. - Oversee site stock of consumables required for construction. - Authorise forklift and crane operations; coordinate on‑shore equipment availability. - Conduct daily housekeeping and general site upkeep. - Perform building, facility, and boundary safety inspections (daily/weekly/annual). - Record site electricity and water consumption. - Liaise with waste‑management contractors, shipyard, site security, and local contractors. - Manage site office deliveries and maintain a quarantined area for damaged tools/PPE. - Support construction management with ad hoc tasks. - Develop proposals for supplies, new PPE orders, and scrap of failing equipment. - Engage local suppliers for minor urgent jobs (e.g., plumbing). **Required Skills** - Strong attention to detail and organizational ability. - Knowledge of safety equipment standards and certification processes. - Proficient in forklift operation (driver’s licence preferred). - Excellent communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and handle call‑out duties outside normal hours. - Basic data entry and record‑keeping skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or construction site experience, ideally within wind or similar projects. - Relevant safety certifications (e.g., PPE handling, forklift operation). - Valid driver’s licence for forklift operation (preferred).
