Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Security Analyst **Role Summary:** Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of information assets to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Deliver incident response, cybersecurity training, and maintain security documentation to support internal and external audits. **Expectations:** - Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT security analyst or related role. - Proven ability to design, operate, and maintain security systems. - Strong problem‑solving skills and critical thinking ability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and investigate complex data for security threats and vulnerabilities. - Conduct incident response activities and facilitate resolution. - Develop, deliver, and maintain cybersecurity awareness training for staff. - Maintain an information security risk register and update risk assessments. - Assist with internal and external information security audits. - Configure and manage security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, AV, content filtering, authentication). - Support Windows and Linux operating system security management. - Document and update Standard Operating Procedures related to security processes. **Required Skills:** - Hands‑on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑virus, authentication, log management, content filtering. - Proficiency in Azure and associated cloud security services. - Familiarity with security protocols, principles, and data protection toolkits. - Ability to work across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux). - Strong analytical and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent. - Postgraduate study or certification in IT security is an advantage.
