**Job Title**
Devops Engineer (W2)
**Role Summary**
Senior DevOps Engineer with 9+ years of experience building and maintaining automated cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing applications across Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
- Engage in continuous improvement of DevOps processes and tooling.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams in Agile settings.
- Maintain production systems with proactive monitoring and incident response.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Provision and manage infrastructure through IaC tools (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, Bicep).
- Configure and operate container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Azure AKS, AWS EKS).
- Automate deployment, configuration, and configuration drift remediation using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Build and maintain observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk) for application performance, logging, and alerting.
- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance controls, and automated testing frameworks.
- Write, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell, SQL, Shell, Perl, and Python scripts.
- Participate in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
**Required Skills**
- 9+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
- Expertise with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE).
- Configuration management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet (preferred).
- Programming/scripting: Java/Spring Boot, Go, Shell, Perl, Python.
- Strong understanding of IaC, PaaS, Saas, CaaS concepts.
- Observability: AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk.
- Agile & DevOps experience.
- PowerShell and SQL scripting.
- AT&T environment experience is a high plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or CI/CD tools certifications.
