Job Description: Job Title: Automation Technician (M/F) Role Summary: Provide preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, and optimize automated cremation systems across France and Belgium, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance. Expectations: - Travel routinely to customer sites (crematoriums). - Independently diagnose faults, modify PLC programs, and execute maintenance tasks. - Collaborate with technical support and internal teams to maintain service continuity. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to procedural improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect, maintain, and optimize cremation equipment, preventing downtime. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following established procedures. - Diagnose malfunctions using specialized tools and adapt PLC programs accordingly. - Work remotely or on-site to resolve issues, coordinating with support services. - Update maintenance history and produce detailed intervention reports. - Develop troubleshooting guides and propose system improvements. Required Skills: - Proficient with PLC programming: Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider Unity Pro, Mitsubishi. - Strong knowledge of automated, electrical, and mechanical systems. - Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. - Experience with diagnostic tools (multimeter, supervision software). - Logical problem‑solving, precision, and meticulous attention to detail. - Strong communication, teamwork, and self‑management under urgent circumstances. Required Education & Certifications: - Bac+2 (BTS) in Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent. - Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance and PLC programming.
