Job Description: **Job Title:** Founding Engineer **Role Summary:** Product‑oriented full‑stack engineer responsible for building and scaling AI‑powered planning tools. Works closely with co‑founders and users, shipping end‑to‑end features from concept to deployment while shaping technical strategy and engineering culture. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality features rapidly with a clear impact on user productivity. - Own end‑to‑end product cycles, from requirement gathering to production rollout. - Take autonomous decisions, balance risk and speed, and influence architecture and product direction. - Collaborate directly with customers to iterate based on real‑world feedback. - Contribute to establishing a scalable engineering culture and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, test, and deploy new features using React, TypeScript, and backend services (Supabase, AWS). - Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into the product, ensuring accurate, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows. - Write clean, maintainable code and maintain rigorous testing standards. - Participate in technical decision‑making, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning. - Mentor and collaborate with a small, cross‑functional team, driving continuous improvement. **Required Skills:** - 4+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web products. - Strong full‑stack proficiency: React, TypeScript, backend (SQL, serverless, or microservices). - Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) and modern toolchains (Vite). - Product‑centric mindset with a focus on solving user problems. - Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and startup‑style ownership. - Clean code practices, automated testing, and CI/CD expertise. - Bonus: experience with AI/LLM integration, 0‑1 ship experience, founder mindset, or interest in public‑sector or climate impact. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. ---
