Job Description
Job title: Solution Engineer (Technical / Pre‑Sales) Role Summary: Drive the technical execution of pre‑sales initiatives by translating business requirements into actionable solutions. Works closely with Sales, Architecture, Product, and Operations teams to deliver demos, POCs, integration assessments, and technical responses that validate the proposed architecture meets client needs. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality technical pre‑sales artifacts (demos, POCs, architecture diagrams). - Serve as the technical lead within opportunity teams, influencing commercial discussions. - Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth handover to delivery. - Continuously improve pre‑sales processes and contribute to product roadmap. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct discovery sessions with clients to map environments, data flows, and integration points. - Design and configure technical solutions, build prototypes, and validate feasibility. - Prepare technical sections of RFP/RFI responses and proposals. - Define architecture, data flows, system interfaces, and assess risks, dependencies, scalability, and compliance. - Coordinate with IT/R&D to align custom/configurable components. - Provide technical input to commercial negotiations and value justification. - Stay updated on emerging technologies in CRM, automation, BPO, and contact‑center. - Deliver feedback to product and enablement teams; participate in internal process reviews. Required Skills: - Strong communication and storytelling ability, translating technical concepts into business terms. - Analytical and problem‑solving expertise. - Collaborative, proactive, and growth‑oriented mindset. - Creative solution design and enablement. - Willingness to travel nationally/internationally as needed. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 3–7 years of technical pre‑sales or solution engineering experience. - Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics). - Familiarity with systems integration, automation, and BPO/contact‑center technologies.
