Job Description

Job title: Freelance RF Training Specialist – Cable Installation & Power Measurement Role Summary: Deliver concise, hands‑on training sessions on the installation, configuration, and testing of RF radio systems and coaxial cabling. Expectations: - Independent contractor operating across France (travel to client sites). - 2–3‑day training cycles, each accommodating up to 8 participants. - Adapt curriculum to participant skill level and client requirements. - Provide all training materials and follow a Qualiopi‑approved framework. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct practical workshops on coaxial cable routing, termination, and head mounting. - Demonstrate installation of radio equipment (couplers, attenuators, DC block, antennas, diplexers). - Lead RF power and insertion‑loss measurements (PAP, TOS, etc.) and interpret results. - Author technical qualification dossiers and training documentation. - Manage session logistics, including scheduling, participant communication, and equipment set‑up. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of RF radio theory, coaxial cable technology, and RF equipment configuration. - Proficiency in RF measurement techniques and power‑sensing instruments. - Proven experience in technical instruction, mentoring, or tutoring (preferred). - Strong practical orientation, independence, and meticulous attention to safety and quality standards. - Excellent verbal communication and ability to tailor content to varying skill levels. Required Education & Certifications: - 1–2 years of professional experience as an RF or telecommunications technician/engineer, or equivalent. - Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience). - Any industry‑recognised RF or instrumentation certification is advantageous.
