Job Description

**Job title:** Bid Analyst **Role Summary:** Lead proposal and bid creation, ensuring all RFB/RFP/RFQ submissions meet customer specifications, compliance standards, and deadlines. Coordinate with sales, procurement, engineering, and vendors to gather information, analyze contract requirements, and optimize bidding strategies. Drive continuous improvement in bid quality and process efficiency. **Expactations:** - Deliver accurate, compliant bids on schedule. - Maintain high standards of documentation quality. - Demonstrate proactive learning of products, services, and market trends. - Exhibit self‑direction, flexibility, and strong teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze RFB/RFP/RFQ requirements; develop comprehensive proposals. - Format, collate, and submit bids in customer‑preferred formats. - Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for bid content. - Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. - Build and maintain a bid database of current and emerging opportunities. - Conduct market research to identify new bidding opportunities & assess competitor submissions. **Required Skills:** - Complex bid analysis & proposal development. - Exceptional organization and detail orientation. - Deadline‑driven with ability to manage competing priorities. - Autonomous self‑starter with strong independent work capability. - Collaborative team player with excellent communication. - Adaptable to evolving business needs. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Writing, or related field. - 2–4 years experience in a corporate or government setting. - Experience in project management and proposal/contract writing or analysis. - Knowledge of procurement processes. - Transit/bus industry familiarity preferred.
