Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineer (Backend, AI Systems) Role Summary: Design and develop scalable backend systems, APIs, and internal tools that power large language models and agentic platforms, focusing on production readiness, performance, and integration across various domains. Expactations: Deliver modular, well‑tested code; collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams; own feature lifecycles from design to deployment; maintain high reliability and scalability of AI services; continuously adopt and apply emerging best practices in AI backend engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for LLM inference and agent orchestration. - Integrate large language models into production‑ready pipelines and services. - Develop internal tools for agent management, workflow orchestration, and system monitoring. - Contribute to system architecture discussions, technical design, and coding standards. - Write unit, integration, and performance tests for backend components. - Deploy and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud‑native solutions. - Optimize data flow and storage across SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases. - Coordinate with frontend, infrastructure, and research teams to deliver cohesive product experiences. Required Skills: - 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience in backend or AI‑related products. - Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js). - Strong understanding of backend architectures, REST/GraphQL APIs, and data modelling. - Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure). - Familiarity with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel). - Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases; exposure to vector databases or embedding pipelines preferred. - Solid grasp of software design principles, patterns, and systems thinking. - Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. - Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment with ownership and autonomy. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - No mandatory certifications required, though experience with cloud‑native services and container orchestration is highly valued.
